I am in the process of gathering information on various f16s with the intent of purchasing one later this summer (and no, I don't own a shipping company that I will use to ship your boat overseas, nor am I the crowned prince of some country who needs your help to get my 50 million out a bank in the USA) . I have, however, saved up a bit of money that I will use to buy a used catamaran (need to save a bit more but then I get the boat).

Eric, Kirt, Matt M (Gina), and Wouter have been incredibly helpful in describing the attributes of the various f16s. This is a great group of people who are willing to take their time to discuss these boats with a person they have not met (says a lot about this F16 class).

What I need now is some information on the used boats in FL. Unfortunately, some boat owners have an inflated opinion of the condition of their boat when they try and sell it. Can anyone tell me the condition of the various f16s for sale in FL? I have seen Rick’s boat while in Key Largo but the rest I have only seen pictures. I was curious what sort of shape Hollis’ boat and trailer and in. That seems to be an attractive price for that package. You can PM me if you like.

Finally, the quality of the AHPC workmanship is legendary. Can anyone give me his or her opinion of the Blade versus the Taipan (quality of workmanship)? I like stuff that holds up season after season.

I plan on sailing the Blade this summer as our family is taking a trip to Titusville to meet up with Gina and Matt. Seem like great people! I hope to get on a Taipan as well.
