Discharge, Customs Clearance and Documentation:



In order to arrange Marine Cargo Insurance we will require written instructions, stating value of cover required together with the name of the assured party to be shown on the insurance certificate.

Please find below a quote to ship 1 x 40ft GP container ex Peters and May yard to Singapore. The rate includes lifting of the container to ground in UK to allow easier access for the boats and sea freight to Singapore (this is what we have done for 420's and 505's). The rates over there are very cheap at the moment however coming back is a different story. I should have some rates for coming back in the next few days.

The price below is only unto quay, you will have to pay for clearance and delivery of the containers in Singapore. I will try to get these prices along with the ocean freight above. Where is the sailing being held (what yacht club?)

Admittedly this is one-way, but if the total outlay for shipping & insurance was in the region of £5,000 return and this were split between 10 boats, the trip becomes more attractive?
