We had one in the back yard too. It was a little bigger than half as long as regulation and about 2/3 as wide. Had lights around it, no boards and 6" high goals (no lift rule in place). It was abuot 50 yards from our back door so we flooded a path from the door to the rink (no putting skates on outside for us). We'd play every night until mom shut the lights off on us. On bright nights we'd keep playing without the lights until she'd start threatening us with our lives.
