big rain here.
Our area has had two "once in 150" year storms this year.
New Zealand has had about eight of these storms in the last five years...so that's great...no more really big storms for 150 years....what are you guys doing?
Chiina three months of non stop floods.
Britan flooding.....
I don't think there is any argumnet that weather is changing.
Is it industry related?? Who cares?
I do not believe for one second that anyone running around screaming carbon credits and electric cars are doing anything other than making money.
Once a weather cycle like this starts it is not going to stop because Hillary Duff runs her car on burger grease.
Don't buy houses near the beach. Don't buy houses on flood plains. Don't buy houses on hillsides. And just like the little pig don't make your house out of straw.
Have big drains and keep them clear and get a wet back..burner guys not worker and a little solar to help when the power is out. Have your own water tanks. Some golf cart batteries and you can just get on with it.
We have 18,000 gallons of water here. It can stay dry for over a year and we are sweet. The water is free....so is the sun. A little bit of boat tech on a sensible block of land is all it takes.
For a little investment you can be sure your computer, VHF, cell. GPS, and torchecs etc can remain charged no matter what happens to the power lines.
The damage in one of our storms was so bad the power was out for some people for ten days!
