Why doesn't the S.A. website have a calander of events and regattas??

Not usually necessary as we dont have that many events and have a mailing list, sacatamarans@yahoogroups.com.au, Yachting Sa website (and book) and the Vic Mozzy website as well. The big events also go out in the Mozzy newsletter which is on the SA Mozzy site and mailed to members.

1) How are the water levels at Lake Bonney?

Only recently cut off from the Murray, should not have lost much water.

2) I noticed in the notice of race that only MCASA members are eligible to enter. Can interstaters come and play too?

Cannot see this being a problem, I will chase it up today. We sail a split states and the second round is at Victor Harbour on 9/10th Feb.

3) If interstaters can play, my crews are only 6 & 8, which is clearly under the 12 year old age limit and they don't hold any sailing qualifications. How would this affect an entry and eligibility to sail.

That is going to be a problem, it is a strange rule that allows waif like 12 year olds but prevents a Dad taking his kids around the course, not the intention of the rule I think.

4) Is it only the Mozzies sailing at Lake Bonney that weekend?

Looks like it, should get a good SA Mozzy fleet, 12 boats is a conservative guess.



You will be sailing, we are about increasing numbers, not turning sailors away.

I hope you get your boat finished, would like to do some tuning up as we have the same platform.
