Now that this conversation has been started maybe it is worthwhile looking at these rules again.

The age one, arguments for both sides and I for one have no problem with crews age if they have done an approved Yachting Aust course and hold the due accrediation (old TL1)


As for the other...well, my thoughts are if someone is prepared to travel to where ever the racing is being held and is good enough to win then so be it...I have strong thoughts on protecting one's own patch, it is not conducive to good competition nor helping others to get up to speed....SA let's re-visit this one ....if not for yourselves for the benefit of the class.
