So Ratherbesailing. If you want to get the F16 global challenge to Aus then work out a serious proposal and send it to the Governing Council. I'm sure they welcome it warmly. With regard to decision making. When you have really only one serious proposal for each year then there isn't much deciding to do. I think we have to give the GC some slack here. It is a big task getting something like this organised; we could just as easily have no Global Challenge.

That advice is simply wrong.
If an F16 member is keen to see a "global challenge" at their own sailing club or in their own country they should contact their local association, who would put together the submission to the GC on the sailors behalf.
The "rumor" mill is going into overtime here & maybe you should all wait until the GC meeting this saturday has occured as I believe there will be announcments regarding chmpionship rotation system & likely allocation over the next few years.
