If an F16 member is keen to see a "global challenge" at their own sailing club or in their own country they should contact their local association, who would put together the submission to the GC on the sailors behalf.
I stand corrected on that point then.
But basically the message of my earlier post remains unchanged. The GC is not dictatorial in these Global Challenge matters, they make the best of what is on offer to them which up till now has been one possible venue each time leaving very little to decide upon. If anybody is "unhappy" with this way of things then they should endeavour to provide the GC with a choice.
