Who's enforcing this, the landlord? Let me guess: there are also policies against pets, noises after 8pm, loud sex at anytime and parking a cat in the car park? The landlord can make any rule(s) about the property they wish to. As long as it's in the signed lease and consistent for all tenants, then it's not discrimination and is also enforceable in the courts.
