When I hear stories like these, I'm inspired to contribute to a fund that will (a) provide these idiots with a one-way (first-class even!) airline ticket to Afghanistan or (b) a trip to New York to personally meet some of the families that suffered such devastating losses. Either way, maybe they'll learn something. It would be interesting to see what their attitude would be if one of their family members had been lost.
