Surely the Nacra is at full beam. They wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

So the old Nacra design was not full beam but the new design (Infusion) is? What could possibly have been the logic for a catamaran that was not at max beam?

People talking .rap and idiots believing it

It is fact in Australia...... Call up Brisbane Cat Centre (NACRA Australia) if you doubt it or talk to any of the AUS F18 sailors.

It was a big mistake by NACRA Aus to reduce the width and it quickly showed in the first AUS F18 Championships. They later offered the kite to people and the NACRA performace increased........ But the mud stuck and a lot of good sailors would not buy a NARCA here. Therefore results indicated that it was still not a fast boat an less people bought them. The new NACRA is a blessing for AUS and will help to shake of some of the mud.

The good news is that there are plenty of fast full width NACRAs in Oz at the moment for a steal. Overlook the past and you have a competitive boat.
