Just as an outside view, if I were a member of the V.M.C.A, I would also be a member of the National body, which would allow me to take part in the Australian Titles, I would assume that to be enough to sail in any State Titles. However if that were not the case, I could probably understand or accept, say a $10-$15 associate membership fee, but I don't think I would attend with a $60 membership to sail other states titles.

We have insurance that allows us sail all Australian waters, we would have membership afiliation to the AYF or whatever its called now, so I would assume it be enough.
