Col,

As far as I am concerned I don't mind being the 'meat in the sandwich' in this issue...it is a bizarre ruling on both fronts and I am afraid that if changing rules is the way to protect your own little patch and in the other case stop someone from winning then I am afraid that it is time some of them went and did an engineering course in bridge building....and got over it.

The solution is easy...I will send you a membership form, give you my home address to use....that way you have a SA address...and as previously said a financial crew....all too easy but should not be that way.

As I have previously said, if someone from interstate is prepared to travel race and win, then we should welcome them with open arms and wish them all the best...it is the way a class develops and improves and seen by ALL to be friendly.

Maybe this is the reason I used to join with the victorians each and everytime I came down from Darwin to regattas....they welcomed the NT boats.

It is in my mind way past the time this rules was rescinded and put where it belongs.....in the bin.

My thoughts for what they are worth.......and I too notice that other than Darryn and Peter comments have been thin from the SA boats, guess it will get discussed at the next committee meeting as peter is on it......time will tell.
