The best situation to mast up storage at a boat yard or cat-friendly sailing club. There's nothing like showing up, throwing up the sails and getting out there. Do not store a beach cat in the water...unless you're willing to do the keelboat (read "slow") boat-job anti-foul thing. Even then, your drain plugs (if you have them) will slowly leak and fill the hulls.
