One of the near by lakes has "on the water" storage for $250/season + club membership and I can leave it floating in a dock slip or on a lift in a slip.....I don't see any cleats on the hobie, so I doubt mooring it mast up is a good idea....maybe for a pot bellied mono hull daysailer. And I'm not going to buy a boat lift that costs more than the boat.
So that club does not have any space for you to store your boat on shore and launch it, with ramp or hoist or through weeds or over rocks or whatever?
