not worth it unless your gonna leave it in the water more than 2 weeks.... otherwise just wash it off the Mr Clean magic eraser works great on dirty boats.... otherwise if you do bottom coat it make sure you use "ablated paint" regular bottom paint will dry up if not submerged in water constantly.... ablated "sheds" over time and doesn't dry up.
