On my Nacra 6.0, with the foil, the EO snuffer I have sits low out there in front, and has been a problem with chute snuffed, in big seas.

I'm now lashing it just in front of the foil, Much the same technique as this 'guk' style snuffer. The tack line is more conventional as the tack is on the fore end of the pole, with the reteival line working basically the same.

This looks like a good set up to me. It really helps to lube the spin with 'McLube', silicon spray, or something similiar if you don't have the special spin material that's out now.

Once my top spin halyard shieve(block) was wasted, and resulted in a great deal of wear on my spin, because it wouldn't go up and down well.
