Mark Thomson has loaned me his Blade mast and I am back in business.

I use various anchor methods depending on the soil.

For sand, I use 2x4 (about 2' long) with a line tied to them. I dig a hole in the sand to bury the 2x4 and then secure it to the trap line (same for the other side).

If the ground is hard I use 18" screw anchors for each side and tie the line to the trap handle.

how deep do you bury the 2x4?

I have a small shovel and dig out the sand about 18" deep, insert the 2 x 4 and cover with the sand and tap down with your feet.

You won't pull it out of the sand easily!

good info thanks
