Let me preface this by saying that I sail leadmines but I'm intigued by the simplicity and speed of catamarans. The question that also should be asked is why are skiffs gaining so much popularity while catamarans numbers are still flat? Both types of boats should appeal to the same type of people and the costs are close. What can we do to pull people away from skiffs?
