Now see? You would probably offend quite a few Christians using that JC language in their presence. They might rather you used the F word, might be less offensive to their savior too.

And that is the problem. Men use the word casually and publicly in a whole variety of contexts. It is the word itself that is intrinsically offensive, no matter how it is being used.
I'm not trying to change anybody's language habits, but I thought it might be good to raise awareness about how it affects a lot of women -- and also how it can affect other men's opinion of you.
