The rules have a maximum hoist height, which I believe is measured from the front beam but I'm not positive. Also, there's a minimum girth rule for the spinnaker dimensions. So your sailmaker can certainly make you a kite that is hoisted all the way to the maximum hoist height; mine goes right up to the halyard block.

Very nice looking boat. Is there a US dealer for the Bim X-16? Does is fit in the F-16 rules or is the mast still too tall? Thanks.
