okay, dumb question:

If I have my information straight, many politicians want minimal government.

As this "shutdown" didn't really close EVERYTHING, is our present situation considered "minimal government"?

If this is what "minimal government" looks like, are you happy with it?

If not, which things would you bring back?

(Please note I am not advocating the line-item bill strategy they're trying, but curious on a more abstract level)

I guess at this point we haven't descended into anarchy so is it that bad?
