30 years ago Jimmy Deans had a set of Hawaiian Tropic sails on his Hobie 16. (He looked like Jimmy Buffet at the time). He was protested & thrown out of every Daytona Beach regatta because of these sails. Not a lot of money in it then, eh? Meantime the Hawaian Tropic guy became a multimillionaire- and still is.
